The Central Sanskrit University’s recruitment notification for non-teaching posts has drawn steady attention on social media platforms, with job aspirants sharing details of vacancies and application dates soon after the notice went live on Wednesday.
The university issued Recruitment Notification 01/2026 for 43 non-teaching and allied academic posts under the Scheme for Promotion of Sanskrit, applicable to recognised Adarsh Sanskrit Mahavidyalayas and Adarsh Sanskrit Shodh Sansthans across several states.
Candidates identify post-specific openings, salary ranges, and the application deadline in screenshots of the notification that are extensively shared on X, Telegram, and job discussion groups. After months of waiting for recruiting updates from central universities, a number of candidates noted that the notification offers clarification.

Posts and pay levels announced
According to the official notification issued by the Central Sanskrit University, the recruitment includes:
College Librarian – Academic Level 10 – 4 posts
Section Officer – Level 7 – 1 post
Assistant – Level 6 – 15 posts
Professional Assistant – Level 6 – 1 post
Upper Division Clerk (UDC) – Level 4 – 2 posts
Lower Division Clerk (LDC) – Level 2 – 20 posts
The pay levels follow the 7th Pay Commission structure.
Application timeline and process
The online application process begins on January 28, 2026, and will close on February 27, 2026, at 11:30 PM IST. Applications are open to Indian citizens only.
Candidates must apply through the official website, sanskrit.nic.in. The university has clarified that this is a brief advertisement, and detailed eligibility conditions including age limits, qualifications, reservation norms and institution-wise vacancy distribution are available in the full notification.
The appointing authorities will be the 19 grant-in-aid model institutions, which will separately inform shortlisted candidates about selection stages as per scheme provisions.
