Central Bank to recruit for 275 vacant posts - key details inside

Central Bank of India has announced recruitment for 275 Specialist Officer posts, with selection through a written exam and interview. Applications close on March 23.

State-owned Central Bank of India has announced recruitment for 275 Specialist Officer (SO) posts across multiple departments. The bank has invited online applications through its official website, centralbank.bank.in. The last date to apply is March 23.

The recruitment drive aims to fill vacancies in information technology, data management, risk, and other specialist roles. Detailed eligibility criteria and job-specific qualifications are available on the bank's website.

Vacancy details across roles

Out of the total 275 posts, the highest number of vacancies is for IT Officer, with 82 positions. Other major openings include 38 posts in Data Security, Cyber Security, and IT Administration, 26 in Production Support/ROC/Digital Support, and 23 for Digital Channel Manager or Digital Application Expert.

There are also vacancies for Software Developers in Java (13 posts) and Dot Net (6 posts), Mobile Developers (3), Database Administrators (11), and Data Engineers (15). Additional roles include Data Scientist (6), General AI (2), Cloud Manager (5), Risk Manager (4), and Tax (2).

Posts are also available in areas such as Network Administration, Enterprise Architecture, DevSecOps, Web Administration, and Linux/Solaris/Storage systems.

Selection process

Candidates will be selected based on a written examination followed by an interview. The written test will be 90 minutes long and consist of 90 questions carrying a maximum of 100 marks.

There will be no negative marking for wrong answers. Final selection will depend on combined performance in the written test and interview.

Application fee and payment mode

The application fee for Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, specially-abled, and women candidates is Rs. 175. For all other candidates, the fee is Rs. 850.

Payment can be made online using debit card, credit card, internet banking or UPI.

The bank has advised interested candidates to complete the application process before the deadline and check the official notification carefully for eligibility conditions and further updates.
