Jaiswal is set to represent India in the one-off Test against Afghanistan starting June 6, which overlaps with the league window.

Rahane faces scrutiny amid KKR struggles
Meanwhile, Ajinkya Rahane has been picked by North Mumbai Panthers for the same league. Unlike Jaiswal, Rahane’s current IPL campaign has been far from dominant. He has scored 152 runs in seven matches, with a highest score of 67 and a strike rate of 144.76, decent but not match-defining.
More significantly, Rahane is under pressure as captain of Kolkata Knight Riders. The team has managed just one win in seven matches, leaving them near the bottom of the table. This poor run has intensified scrutiny over both leadership decisions and overall team strategy.
