"People are shifting from SEO to AEO because they are now frequently using Voice assistants like Google Assistant and Alexa, AI chat bots like ChatGPT and Google’s AI powered search features like summaries at the top," Dasgupta noted.

Businesses are also adapting to this change. They want their content to be picked as the best answer. This can improve visibility without relying only on rankings.
