Google has updated its AI music tool with a new model called Lyria 3 Pro. Users can now generate music tracks up to three minutes long, a big jump from the 30-second clips supported by the previous version, Lyria 3, which launched just last month.

The rollout began on March 25, 2026, and is expected to finish within a few days, reported The Times of India. The tool is available across consumer, business, and enterprise plans globally.

What Lyria 3 Pro can do?

The new model gives users much more control over how their music sounds. It understands musical structure better, so users can ask for specific parts like an intro, verse, chorus, or bridge. According to Google, "Lyria 3 Pro better understands musical composition, so users can now prompt for specific elements like intros, verses, choruses, and bridges. It's great for experimenting with different styles or adding custom tracks to projects, presentations, or assets."

Who can access it?

Lyria 3 Pro is open to users aged 18 and above. It currently supports eight languages: English, Japanese, Korean, Hindi, Spanish, Portuguese, German, and French.

On the business side, it is available under Standard and Plus plans. Enterprise users on Standard and Plus plans can access it. It is also available through add-ons like Google AI Pro for Education, AI Expanded Access, and AI Ultra Access. Consumers can use it with Google AI Pro and Ultra plans.
