This situation raises serious concerns regarding the geography and climate around the globe. With the ever-increasing environmental hazards, shallow earthquakes have become common. Unlike those with a deeper hypocenter, shallow ones pose serious danger because the seismic waves have a shorter distance to cover to reach the surface.
