A mysterious incident unfolded in North Delhi after two men were discovered dead inside a parked car, prompting a police investigation into the circumstances surrounding their deaths. The bodies were found inside a vehicle in the Narela Industrial Area, raising concerns among residents and authorities.

According to TOI, the two men, who were cousins, were found inside a white car parked near a canal in the Khera Khurd village area of North Delhi. Authorities received information around 11:30 am about a suspicious vehicle with two people lying unconscious inside it.
A police team rushed to the spot and discovered the two men inside the vehicle. Officers noted that the doors of the car, which bore a Uttar Pradesh registration number, were open, while both individuals appeared unresponsive. Blood was reportedly seen coming from their noses, adding to the mystery surrounding the deaths.
Family members later arrived at the location and identified the victims. According to preliminary information, the deceased were relatives and were believed to be around 20 and 35 years old. Their bodies were subsequently taken into custody and sent for post-mortem examination. Police said that crime and forensic teams examined the site to collect evidence and determine whether any suspicious circumstances were involved.

Police suspect suffocation, probe continues
While the exact cause of death remains unclear, preliminary investigation suggests that the two men may have died due to suffocation inside the vehicle. Officials noted that the car’s windows were closed when it was discovered, which could have contributed to the fatal conditions.
Deputy Commissioner of Police (Outer North) Hareshwar Swami said investigators are examining all possible angles, including accidental suffocation or other circumstances that may have led to the deaths. Forensic analysis and the post-mortem report will play a key role in determining the cause. Authorities have also begun questioning family members and acquaintances to establish the victims’ movements before the incident. CCTV footage from nearby areas is being reviewed to trace how the car reached the location and whether anyone else was involved.
