Waiting for WB Madhyamik results? Here's when and where to check scores

Around 9.71 lakh students appeared for the examination, including 544,606 girls, 426,733 boys and one transgender candidate.

The West Bengal Board of Secondary Education (WBBSE) will announce the Madhyamik Examination 2026 results on May 8, per a News18 report. Once released, students will be able to check their scores online through the board’s official websites.

This year’s Madhyamik examinations were conducted from February 2 to February 12 across 2,682 centres in West Bengal.

Around 9.71 lakh students appeared for the examination, including 544,606 girls, 426,733 boys and one transgender candidate.

Where students can check results

After the declaration, students can access their results on wbresults.nic.in and wbbse.wb.gov.in.

Candidates will need their roll number and date of birth to log in and view the result.

The online scorecard will display details including subject-wise marks, total score, roll number and pass or fail status.

How to download marksheet

Students can follow a few simple steps to check their results online:

Visit the official website at wbresults.nic.in

Click on the “WBBSE 10th Result 2026” link on the homepage

Enter the roll number and date of birth

Submit the details to view the result

Download and print the marksheet for future use

Students have also been advised to carefully check all details mentioned on the marksheet and report any discrepancy to the board if required.

Digital marksheets on DigiLocker

Along with online results, digital marksheets will also be made available through DigiLocker.

Students can log in through the DigiLocker website or mobile app, access the “Issued Documents” section and select the West Bengal Madhyamik option to download their digital marksheets.

Last year’s timeline

In 2025, the Madhyamik results were announced on May 2. This year, the board has scheduled the declaration for May 8 following a revised examination calendar.

With the results expected tomorrow, lakhs of students across the state are preparing for the next phase of admissions into Class 11 and future academic plans.
