Actor Ayesha Khan has shared a heartfelt note for the team behind Dhurandhar 2, praising lead actor Ranveer Singh and director Aditya Dhar, while adding a playful remark about co-actor Saumya Tandon.

Taking to Instagram after attending a special screening of the film in Mumbai, Ayesha posted a series of pictures with members of the cast and crew, including Ranveer Singh, Aditya Dhar, Sara Arjun, Yami Gautam and Saumya Tandon.

A note filled with admiration

In her post, Ayesha referred to Ranveer Singh and Aditya Dhar as the franchise’s “OG Dhurandhars” and expressed admiration for their work. “Like I told you, I am a fan since day 1. You deserve the world,” she wrote for Ranveer Singh, while also praising casting director Mukesh Chhabra, calling him a “star maker”.

She also reflected on her interactions with Aditya Dhar, writing that conversations with the filmmaker have stayed with her and that she looks up to his work-life balance.

Adding a lighter moment, Ayesha joked about Saumya Tandon, referencing a scene from Dhurandhar in which the actor slaps her onscreen husband. “Can’t wait to be slapped by you, iyky,” she wrote.

Cast, crew and gratitude

Ayesha also mentioned co-stars Sara Arjun and Yami Gautam in her note, calling them inspiring and expressing support for their journeys. She extended her appreciation to choreographer Vijay Ganguly and her Shararat co-star Krystle D’Souza.

The actor concluded her message by thanking the entire team and acknowledging the support she has received. “It’s nothing less than magic to be part of a film that’s going to be remembered for generations,” she wrote.

Ayesha gained attention for her appearance in the song Shararat in Dhurandhar, alongside Krystle D’Souza. The track, set against a wedding backdrop in Karachi, has gained traction on social media.
