Ranveer Singh’s big praise for Rakesh Bedi
In an interaction with India Podcasts, Rakesh Bedi recalled how Ranveer Singh praised him on the last day of shooting.
He said, “Bohot achchi tuning rahi, aur jab mera last day tha… tab Ranveer ne mike apne haath mein li aur bola ki agar ye film ₹1000 crore ka dhanda karegi toh usme ₹500 crore Rakesh ji ke vajah se honge." (There was great bonding, and on my last day, Ranveer took the mic and said that if the film earns ₹1000 crore, then ₹500 crore of it will be because of Rakesh ji.)
Rakesh added that he asked Ranveer not to make such a big statement, but the actor insisted that he truly meant it.

What Aditya Dhar told him on set
The actor also spoke about the warm atmosphere on the set, crediting director Aditya Dhar for it. He shared, “Ek character actor ke liye issey badi respect aur kya ho sakti hain? Ek director jo bol raha hain, aur usne mere kandhe pe haath rakh ke bola, film ke dauran, 'Rakesh ji jab apka last day aayega na shooting ka, toh main ro parunga! Sir, I will miss you!' So iss tarah ka atmosphere create hua tha poore film mein.”
He added that such an environment naturally reflects in the performances and overall quality of the film.
Dhurandhar had a strong box office run, earning ₹838.5 crore in India and ₹1303.35 crore worldwide. With growing excitement and positive word-of-mouth, Dhurandhar 2 is expected to perform even better.
