Advance bookings for Dhurandhar: The Revenge, starring Ranveer Singh, have crossed the ₹100 crore mark worldwide, setting multiple pre-sale records ahead of the film’s release on March 19.
The spy thriller, directed by Aditya Dhar, has recorded strong ticket sales both in India and overseas, with trade analysts reporting unusually high demand for preview and opening-day shows.

According to trade estimates cited in industry reports, the film has already sold close to 10 lakh tickets for preview and opening-day shows in India, pushing domestic pre-sales to nearly ₹60 crore for the opening weekend.
Strong overseas demand breaks previous records
The film has also posted strong numbers in international markets, particularly in North America.
Industry data shows that Dhurandhar 2 has become the first Indian film to cross $5 million in advance bookings in the North American market, surpassing earlier pre-sale records held by films such as Pathaan, RRR, and Baahubali 2: The Conclusion, which each crossed the $4-million mark in the territory.
Globally, advance ticket sales have already exceeded $6 million, taking the film’s worldwide pre-sale total to more than ₹120 crore, according to trade insiders. With two days still remaining before release, industry trackers expect the total advance booking figure to rise further in the coming days.
Biggest preview opening for an Indian film
The film has also recorded the highest premiere earnings for an Indian release, collecting ₹32.44 crore from paid preview shows in India. The previous record was held by OG, starring Pawan Kalyan, which had earned around ₹25 crore from preview screenings, according to trade figures.
Preview screenings for Dhurandhar 2 are scheduled for the evening of March 18, a day before the film opens in theatres worldwide.
Star cast and expectations
Apart from Ranveer Singh, the film features R. Madhavan, Arjun Rampal, Sanjay Dutt, Sara Arjun, and Rakesh Bedi in key roles. Actor Akshaye Khanna, who played the antagonist in the first film, is also expected to appear in a cameo.
The original film Dhurandhar, released in December last year, reportedly earned around ₹1,300 crore worldwide and remains in theatres in several markets. Trade analysts believe the sequel could deliver one of the biggest global openings for an Indian film if the current pace of advance bookings continues.
