The Golden State Warriors will again be without star guard Stephen Curry for its upcoming game against the New York Knicks on March 15, based on the latest injury report issued by the team.
Curry has been listed as out with a right knee injury, which has caused him to miss more time from the Warriors’ lineup as they try to get through this challenging part of the season. Curry has missed 17 straight games with the injury. The Warriors are having some struggles, with the team sporting a 32-34 win/loss record and sitting at ninth place in the Western Conference standings.

Knee injury keeps Curry sidelined
Curry’s injury dates back to January 30, when he hurt his knee during a game against the Detroit Pistons and was forced to leave the court early.
Medical tests later confirmed that the four-time NBA champion is dealing with patellofemoral pain syndrome, prompting the Warriors’ medical staff to give him additional time to recover. The injury also forced Curry to skip the 2026 NBA All-Star Game in February. The team expects to reassess his condition in roughly ten days, according to reports.
The knee problem adds to a series of physical setbacks Curry has dealt with this season, including quadriceps contusions and ankle sprains.

Warriors facing depth issues
Golden State is facing a number of absences prior to the game, and this has meant that younger and bench players have had to contribute more to the team.
From the injury report, some of the players that are out include Draymond Green, Seth Curry, Moses Moody, and De'Anthony Melton, while Quinten Post is questionable due to an ankle sprain.

As a result of the number of players that are out, the team is likely to rely on other players, including Brandin Podziemski, Trayce Jackson-Davis, Gary Payton II, Gui Santos, and Buddy Hield, for longer minutes in the game.
Podziemski has had to contribute more to the team due to the absence of Curry and has averaged 12.8 points, 5.2 rebounds, and 3.7 assists per game.
