A shocking incident has come to light from Agra, where an eight-year-old girl who went missing was later found dead inside a rented room in her own house.
Girl goes missing, body found inside same house
According to the Hindustan Times, the child disappeared on March 24 around 4 pm from the Siddhant Nagar area in the Tajganj locality. Her family reported her missing soon after, prompting a large-scale search operation. Police teams scanned CCTV footage from nearby areas. The girl was seen entering the locality in one camera, but did not appear in any further footage, raising suspicion. During the search, officers became suspicious of a locked rented room in the same house. When they broke open the lock, they found the girl’s body hidden inside a flour container.

Accused tenant joined search, later fled
The main suspect, identified as Sunil, was a tenant living in the same house for about a year. He reportedly worked at the victim’s family’s shoe factory. Shockingly, he had initially joined the family and neighbours in searching for the missing girl. However, he later locked his room and fled, which raised suspicion among locals and police. Police said multiple teams have been formed to trace the accused, who is currently absconding. The girl’s body has been sent for a post-mortem to determine the exact cause of death.
