Dispute over wedding payment
According to NDTV, the victim, Lokesh Gupta, who works as a halwai and provides tent services, had supplied arrangements for a wedding held on April 20. Separate case highlights rising domestic violence
In a separate incident from Uttar Pradesh’s Moradabad, a 35-year-old woman was allegedly killed by her husband following repeated arguments over her going to the gym. The accused reportedly struck his wife with an iron rod in a fit of rage, leading to her death. He later attempted to stage the crime as an accident before being taken into custody.
