The results for the Air Force Common admission have been officially announced on Wednesday 11th March by The Indian Air Force on their official website, afcat.edcil.co.in. Candidates who appeared for the exam can now check their scorecards and merit list on the official website.
AFCAT 2026 result declared for officer recruitment
The Indian Air Force have officially released results of the Air Force Common Admission Test AFCAT 2026 for the candidates who are aspiring to become commissioned officers. This recruitment drive aims to fill 340 Group A Gazette Officer posts across various branches.

The vacancies are available for the posts of Flying Branch, Ground Duty (Technical) and Ground Duty (Non-Technical) branches. Candidates who have successfully cleared the written exam will now move forward to the next stage of the selection process conducted by the Air Force Selection Board (AFSB).
The AFCAT scorecard contains important details including the candidate’s name, registration number, section-wise marks, total marks obtained, the official cutoff marks, and the qualifying status. It also provides category-wise ranking information that helps candidates understand their position in the merit list.
Candidates above cutoff to appear for AFSB testing
Only candidates who score equal to or above the AFCAT cutoff marks will be shortlisted for the next round of selection. These shortlisted applicants will be called for the AFSB interview and testing process, which will test leadership qualities, personality traits and suitability for officer roles in the Indian Air Force.
Steps to check AFCAT result
To check the result, candidates must visit the official AFCAT website afcat.edcil.co.in and look for the result notification on the homepage. After clicking the link for AFCAT-01/2026 results, they will be redirected to the candidate login page. Applicants need to enter their registered email ID and password to access their scorecard.

Once the result appears on the screen, candidates should download it and save multiple copies for future reference.
