One user commented, "RIP. My sympathy to their family and anyone else involved. Portland Fire and Rescue said it was 'Cardiac Arrest.' That heat is deadly serious. It was soo hot and humid inside that building today. I'm not implying that was the cause, but conditions like that are absolutely dangerous, even early in April. There needs to be something done about it, such as opening the vents or improving the air flow. And also, those curtains they installed in AFE1 & AFE2… you know how it affects air flow around the floors?"
"Also, there is a tendency for that building to have a lot of injuries. At least they showed some decency and respect and sent everyone home," noted another.
