Iran has come up with a new 14-point proposal to the United States, trying to solve their long-standing issues within just 30 days and end the ongoing conflict. This plan is seen as a reply to America’s earlier nine-point proposal and shows that Iran wants a faster and clearer solution instead of continuing the current fragile ceasefire.

In a social media post, Trump wrote, “They have not yet paid a big enough price for what they have done to Humanity, and the World, over the last 47 years,” indicating reluctance to accept the proposal without stronger concessions.

What Iran is proposing in 30 days

As per an Indian Express report, Iran’s proposal basically focuses on quickly fixing things with the US within 30 days and ending the war instead of just extending the ceasefire. It asks the US to lift sanctions, release frozen funds, stop its naval blockade, and withdraw forces from the region. The plan also talks about stopping all conflicts, including Israel’s war in Lebanon, and includes a promise of nonaggression from all sides. Iran has suggested reopening the Strait of Hormuz step by step and taking responsibility for clearing sea mines. However, one major point is that Iran has clearly refused to dismantle its nuclear infrastructure, which could remain a big issue.

Iran’s proposal includes many points, but it depends on whether both sides agree on key issues. Differences over nuclear policy and military presence in the region are still major challenges.

With tensions continuing, the next few weeks will be important in deciding if this 30-day plan leads to any agreement or not.
