Singer Sunidhi Chauhan has postponed her upcoming show in Kolkata as she has been diagnosed with a severe throat infection. The show was scheduled for March 14 as part of her I Am Home India Tour. The show will now take place on March 25. The singer announced the news through a statement on social media. She said that the decision was taken to ensure that the audience gets the experience she wants.
The announcement comes days after videos circulated online showing Chauhan getting emotional during a live performance while apologising to fans for singing despite throat problems.

Singer advised vocal rest by doctors
In her statement posted on March 12, Chauhan said doctors had recommended complete vocal rest to allow her voice to recover.
She said the decision to postpone the concert was difficult but necessary to deliver the performance her fans expect.
"Our I AM HOME India Tour has been receiving incredible love and blessings across the country, and this decision stems from the single most motive that each and every one of you experiences the concert exactly the way it is meant to be," she wrote.
The singer also thanked fans for their patience and support, adding that she “deeply appreciates” their understanding during the unexpected change in schedule.
