The Royal Enfield Meteor 350 is designed mainly as a relaxed cruiser motorcycle, but many riders also consider it for daily commuting. While it provides good comfort and a smooth riding experience, its weight and cruiser-style ergonomics may not suit everyone who rides regularly in city traffic.

Comfortable engine and relaxed riding experience

The Meteor 350 is powered by a 349cc single-cylinder engine that focuses more on smooth power delivery rather than aggressive speed. This makes the motorcycle easy to ride in city conditions where frequent gear changes are needed. The engine delivers steady torque at low and mid speeds, which helps riders move comfortably through traffic.

One of the biggest advantages of the bike is its riding comfort. It comes with a low seat height, wide handlebars and forward-set footpegs, giving the rider a relaxed posture. This design helps reduce fatigue, especially during longer commutes or highway rides. The motorcycle also offers useful modern features such as a navigation pod, USB charging port and LED lighting, which add convenience for everyday riding. Many riders report a real-world fuel efficiency of around 34–36 km/l, which is reasonable for a 350cc cruiser motorcycle.

Heavy build may feel difficult in city traffic

Despite its strengths, the Meteor 350 may not be the easiest bike to manage in crowded city roads. The motorcycle weighs close to 200 kg, which can make it slightly difficult to manoeuvre in tight traffic or parking areas.

Some riders also feel the bike’s acceleration is modest compared with sportier motorcycles in the same segment. While it cruises comfortably at around 80–90 km/h, it is not designed for quick bursts of speed. Other limitations include a slightly stiff rear suspension on rough roads and mild vibrations at higher speeds. The cruiser riding posture, with forward footpegs, may also feel less practical for riders who frequently deal with stop-and-go traffic.

Overall, the Royal Enfield Meteor 350 can be a good daily commuter for riders who value comfort and often ride longer distances or on highways. However, for people who mostly travel through heavy city traffic, a lighter motorcycle may feel easier to handle.
