The Madhyamik examination begins tomorrow, Monday. Kolkata Police has taken several measures to ensure that examinees can reach examination centres safely and without hindrance.
To ensure smooth and uninterrupted traffic movement across Kolkata during the examination period, the entry of goods vehicles into the city has been completely restricted from 6 am to 12 noon. Alongside this, the Kolkata Police has launched a dedicated helpline to assist students and guardians.

In case of any emergency or delay, calling 9432610039 will ensure that police personnel and officers reach the spot quickly to assist.
According to sources at Lalbazar, all police stations and traffic guards have been instructed to remain on high alert during the Madhyamik examination period. Police have also been directed to extend all possible help to examinees, from escorting students who are running late to their exam centres to assisting those who may have accidentally left their admit cards at home.

Lalbazar has announced that ambulances will also be stationed at important road intersections. If any examinee falls ill, arrangements will be made to take them to a nearby hospital.
Auto-rickshaw, taxi, and app-cab drivers have stated that if examinees face problems on the road, they will be assisted in reaching examination centres quickly and safely. App-bike or app-cab rides are often cancelled. The organisations have assured that if any cab or bike is booked and the person identifies themselves as a secondary examinee, that ride will not be cancelled under any circumstances.
