The National Testing Agency (NTA) has activated the fee refund facility for NEET (UG) 2026 candidates on the official website, neet.nta.nic.in. Through a public notice issued on May 22, 2026, the agency informed applicants that they can now submit their bank account details online for processing of examination fee refunds.
The refund facility has been integrated into the NEET (UG) 2026 login portal, allowing candidates to complete the process using their application credentials.

Refund submission window open till May 27
According to the notice, candidates can access the refund link by logging into the NEET (UG) 2026 registration portal. The submission window opened on May 22 and will remain active till May 27, 2026, up to 11.50 pm.
The agency has also advised candidates not to initiate any chargeback requests related to examination fee payments during the process.

Details candidates need to submit
To complete the refund process, candidates must provide key banking details including account holder name, bank name, account number and IFSC code. Applicants may also upload a scanned cancelled cheque to ensure the information entered is accurate.
NTA stated that the details submitted on the portal will be treated as final. No correction or modification facility will be available after submission.
Important advisory for applicants
Candidates have been advised to carefully verify all bank information before completing the process online. Only submissions made within the prescribed deadline will be considered for refund processing.
