Delhi Police have arrested a 19-year-old man for allegedly stabbing another youth during a violent altercation in northwest Delhi.

The incident occurred following a dispute between the accused and the victim, which escalated into a physical fight. According to police officials, the accused attacked the victim with a knife during the confrontation, leaving him seriously injured. The victim was rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment after the stabbing. Police were alerted about the incident soon after the attack and launched an investigation. Acting on the complaint and preliminary findings, officers identified the accused and detained him shortly after the incident. The weapon used in the crime was also reportedly recovered during the investigation.

Dispute escalated into a violent attack

Investigators said the stabbing followed a heated argument between the two youths. What started as a verbal dispute quickly turned violent, resulting in the accused allegedly pulling out a knife and attacking the victim. Police registered a case under relevant sections of the law and began gathering evidence, including statements from witnesses present at the scene. The accused was later formally arrested and is currently in police custody.
