India slams Pakistan over Kabul hospital attack
India on Tuesday strongly criticised Pakistan after strikes on a hospital in Afghanistan’s Kabul killed at least 400 people and injured over 250 others. The Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) described the attack as “barbaric, cowardly and unconscionable” and accused Pakistan of trying to “dress up a massacre as a military operation”.
The government also highlighted that the attack took place during the holy month of Ramzan, calling its timing even more disturbing. “There is no faith, no law, and no morality that can justify the deliberate targeting of a hospital and its patients,” the MEA said in a statement. Read full story

The vessel carried more than 47,000 metric tons of LPG, making it the second Indian-flagged tanker to safely transit the crucial shipping corridor amid escalating tensions in the Middle East. The arrival follows that of Shivalik, another LPG carrier that docked at Mundra Port in Gujarat a day earlier with over 46,000 metric tons of LPG, according to officials. Cooking gas prices have increased in various major cities across India. Currently, a 14.2-kg LPG cylinder in Delhi is priced at ₹913 as of March 17, which is a hike of ₹60 in just a month.
This increase in cooking gas prices comes after a hike due to supply disruptions caused by ongoing tensions in West Asia, especially around the Strait of Hormuz, a strategic waterway that handles a significant volume of oil shipments across the world. Disruptions in the movement of ships in this corridor have impacted the supply of LPG. Check latest rates in your city
