The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released the revised examination calendar for the 2026–2027 recruitment cycle. Candidates can check the updated schedule on the official website — ssc.gov.in.
The revised calendar includes updated dates for several major examinations such as Combined Graduate Level (CGL) 2026, Combined Higher Secondary Level (CHSL) 2026, General Duty (GD) Constable, Sub-Inspector in Delhi Police and CAPFs, Stenographer, Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS), and others.
SSC CGL 2026
The SSC CGL 2026 notification will be released on March 31, and the application process will remain open until April 30, 2026. The Tier-I exam is scheduled to be conducted between May and June 2026.

SSC CHSL 2026 details
The SSC CHSL 2026 notification will be released on April 30, with applications open until May 31, 2026. The Tier-I examination will be held between July and September 2026.
Graduate stream: SSC CGL
The Combined Graduate Level (CGL) examination is designed for degree holders. Candidates must have a graduation degree in any discipline from a recognised university. The exam is targeted for May–June 2026 and will cover Quantitative Aptitude, English Language, Reasoning, and General Awareness.
Higher secondary stream: SSC CHSL
The CHSL examination is meant for candidates who have completed their 10+2 (Higher Secondary) education. The exam is scheduled for July–September 2026 and includes posts such as Data Entry Operator (DEO) and Lower Divisional Clerk (LDC).
Matriculation stream: MTS and GD Constable
For candidates who have completed their Class 10 education, SSC offers opportunities through MTS and GD Constable exams. The MTS 2026 exam is expected between September and November 2026, while the GD Constable 2027 exam is scheduled between January and March 2027.

Tentative exam schedule
According to the calendar, SSC CGL 2026 (Tier-I) and SSC JE 2026 (Paper-I) exams are expected between May and June 2026. The SSC Selection Post Phase-XIV exam is likely to be held between May and July 2026. CHSL Tier-I will be conducted between July and September 2026, followed by the Stenographer exam in August–September 2026.
The MTS exam is scheduled between September and November 2026, while the Delhi Police and CAPF Sub-Inspector exam will be held between October and November 2026. The GD Constable 2027 exam is expected between January and March 2027.
