India draws with China in the Thomas & Uber Cup 2026, faces an early tough test

India faces a stern early challenge in the upcoming editions of the bThomas Cup and Uber Cup, after being drawn alongside powerhouse China in both competitions. In the men’s Thomas Cup, India has been placed in a competitive group featuring China, Canada, and Australia.

Meanwhile, in the women’s Uber Cup, India will face China, Denmark, and Ukraine. With China being the defending champions and one of the most dominant nations in world badminton, India’s path to the knockout stage is expected to be challenging.

Qualification stakes high

Only the top two teams from each group will advance to the quarterfinals, making every group-stage match crucial.
