Keeping the Madhyamik examinations in view, the Daspur-1 Panchayat Samiti has issued clear instructions to remove the market from the roadside to prevent traffic congestion.
On Sunday, the Panchayat Samiti carried out miking to ensure that vegetable markets and temporary shops occupying a portion of the road were removed.
As part of the drive, announcements were made through a toto in the Hospital More area of Daspur on behalf of the Panchayat Samiti. Every day, vegetable vendors and several temporary shops are set up on both sides of the Daspur–Sagarpur Road near Hospital More, which often leads to severe traffic congestion in the area.
During market hours, even private vehicles entering the road get stuck in long traffic jams.

With the Madhyamik examinations beginning from Monday, students will be travelling to Sagarpur High School to appear for their exams using this same road. To ensure that examinees do not face delays and can reach their examination centre on time, traders have been instructed to remove their stalls and temporary shops from the Hospital More area. The vendors have also been asked to relocate their businesses to the nearby Lauda Market Complex until the examination period ends.

Daspur-1 panchayat samiti president Sukumar Patra said, "Instructions have been given to remove the market from the road so that students can reach the examination centre smoothly. If anyone does not follow the instructions, strict measures will be taken."
