‘Banglar Bari Wall’ programme highlights rural housing impact in Sagar Block

As part of a special IEC (Information, Education and Communication) initiative under the Banglar Bari Gramin housing scheme, the Sagar Block administration organised the “Banglar Bari Wall” programme to highlight the impact of the rural housing project and amplify beneficiary voices.

The programme brought together beneficiaries who have either received sanction letters for constructing permanent houses under the Banglar Bari Gramin scheme or have already benefited from financial assistance provided through the project.

During the event, beneficiaries openly shared their experiences, opinions and words of gratitude, reflecting on how the scheme has transformed their living conditions.

Beneficiaries express gratitude for fulfilled housing dreams

Several beneficiaries spoke about how their long-cherished dream of owning a permanent home has finally become a reality, thanks to the support of the West Bengal Government.

Many said the assistance not only provided them with financial stability but also restored dignity, safety and a sense of belonging for their families.

Through wall writings and personal reflections showcased as part of the programme, beneficiaries expressed heartfelt thanks to the state administration for ensuring the scheme's transparent implementation. Special gratitude was expressed towards the government and CM Mamata Banerjee for prioritising rural housing and improving living standards across villages.
