Mardaani 3 is set to make its digital debut on Netflix from March 27, 2026, according to a report by OTTPlay. This is almost eight weeks after its theatrical release, which was on January 30 this year, a pattern that is currently followed by most of the new releases in the Hindi film industry.

The film is directed by Abhiraj Minawala and is a more layered and procedural take on the franchise compared to its previous installments, where it follows the story of SSP Shivani Shivaji Roy, played by Rani Mukerji, and her investigation into the disappearance of 93 young girls.
As the case progresses, it takes a wider turn, revealing a criminal network involving a beggar mafia and illegal medical practices. The scope of the story has been widened to include locations beyond India, such as Sri Lanka.
Box office performance
Despite facing competition from Border 2, Mardaani 3 has managed to retain its position at the box office. Trade figures suggest that Mardaani 3 has collected around ₹75 crore worldwide, out of which domestic collections are around ₹60 crore.
Although not a blockbuster, Mardaani 3 is one of the better-performing films of 2026.
