CBSE Board exams 2026 from February 17

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) Class 10 and 12 board examinations will start on February 17. The board has released the admit cards for registered candidates. Schools can download the admit cards for their students from the official CBSE website. According to the revised schedule, Class 10 examinations are set to end by March 11 while Class 12 exams will run until April 10. This year’s board exams are especially important because several new rules and reforms, many of which align with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, are being put into place together for the first time. Punjab law college shooting: Student kills classmate, then himself in Tarn Taran

A tragic shooting incident at a law college in Punjab’s Tarn Taran district claimed two lives today. A male student allegedly shot his female classmate before killing himself on the college campus. The incident took place at Mai Bhago Law College. The accused has been identified as Prince Raj, a resident of Mallian village. The victim, Sandeep Kaur, lived in Naushehra Pannuan. Both were students of the same institution. A video purportedly showing the incident has surfaced on social media, though its authenticity has not been independently verified.
