War has been raging in West Asia since February 28. At the center of the conflict are Iran and Israel. Tel Aviv is one of the strongest bases in Netanyahu's country. However, it is not just a military base of Israel – the city has an ancient history that has earned it the title of 'White City'.

The time was 1930. Between the First World War and the Second World War. There was political turmoil throughout Europe and the entire world. During that era of instability, many people from multiple European countries – especially Germany – began flocking to West Asian countries.

At that time, this city of Tel Aviv became one of the preferred destinations for Jews fleeing from Germany. They came from Germany and established settlements here in their own way. Large buildings and office complexes were constructed in modern methods by Jewish architects. The formal name of the method used to build these houses was Bauhaus Style.

Most of these buildings are white or some other light color. From then on, this Israeli city became known as the 'White City'. The little-known city of Tel Aviv gradually became one of Israel's major commercial centers.

Alongside this, modernity touched this ancient area. These large buildings were equipped with balconies, large windows, and open environments. Special spaces were also reserved for entertainment in the evening or after dusk.

There was also important logic behind painting the buildings white or very light colors. According to scientific reasoning, white color absorbs sunlight at the lowest level and reflects it at the highest level. Therefore, with the buildings being white, the interior remains cool even in the tropical climate.

Currently, the term 'Planned City' is widely used in urbanization across various countries. In West Bengal too, New Town or Kalyani are called 'Planned Cities', where transportation systems, roads, buildings, and residential areas are all created in a well-planned manner.

The idea of developing a city in such a planned way many years ago is truly remarkable. Due to this city's extraordinary beauty, UNESCO has also given it the title of World Heritage.

However, it's not just the 'White City' or 'World Heritage'. It is said that people in Tel Aviv always stay awake – A City that Never Sleeps. Besides being one of the country's major commercial centers, this city is also an important business hub. It has multiple beaches, cafes, restaurants, and hotels. Many people come to this city to enjoy the nightlife when visiting Israel.
