A shocking video has surfaced on social media, capturing disturbing footage of two separate teams of surgeons apparently engaged in a "competition" while they performed surgeries on patients. It has created a massive public outburst across social media, where people have agonisingly claimed the unseriousness of the Pakistani medical facility and have demanded immediate suspension of the doctors and the departments involved.
The video reportedly captures two teams performing C-section procedures on separate patients inside an operating theatre. People recording the video are heard suggesting that the teams complete the surgeries as soon as possible, as reported by Hindustan Times.
It may be mentioned that the authenticity of the video has not been independently verified.

Firestorm across social media
According to Hindustan Times, the video caused inevitable public outrage and intense criticism on social media. āThis is a potential lawsuit with medical licenses cancelled in the west for invading patient privacy and potentially infecting the theatre. No wonder the quality of doctors has seriously declined in this country, thanks to medical colleges on every street,ā an individual wrote, while another user added, āThe girls recording and laughing deserve the punishment first.ā

āNothing surprises me in Pakistan anymoreā, a third person added. Another user stated, āGosh. The illiteracy level of literary doctors is insane.ā

Medical facility under investigation
The incident took place at Lady Willingdon Hospital, as reported by Lahore-based Pakistani media outlet 24 News HD, as reported by HT. It was also reported that the administration has launched an investigation into the matter after the video started circulating on social media.
Dr Farah, the hospitalās Medical Superintendent, said, āThe committee will examine the video in detail, and strict legal action will be taken against those found responsible.ā
As per citings from News HD, the Medical Superintendent further explained that during the investigation, which is being conducted by a separate inquiry committee, it will also be determined how the video was recorded and circulated from the operating theatre.
