A man was shot dead by unidentified attackers in outer Delhi’s Bawana area during a morning walk, in what police suspect to be a case linked to gang rivalry. The incident took place in the early hours when the victim had stepped out with his 10-year-old daughter.

Attack during morning walk shocks Bawana

According to NDTV, two assailants arrived on a motorcycle and opened fire at the man. He sustained multiple bullet injuries and died on the spot. His daughter, who was with him at the time, was hit by a bullet and injured in her hand. She was immediately taken to a hospital and is reported to be out of danger. The sudden firing created panic in the area, with locals rushing to help. The attackers fled the scene soon after carrying out the shooting. Police teams reached the spot and began an investigation.

Possible gang war angle under investigation

Initial investigation suggests that the killing could be linked to an ongoing gang rivalry. CCTV footage from nearby areas is being examined to identify the attackers and trace their movements before and after the incident.
