A baby boy has been born into the Raghuvanshi family in Indore, bringing a moment of joy after last year's tragedy. The family had lost their son Raja in a planned murder during his honeymoon in Meghalaya. The newborn is the son of Raja’s elder brother, Sachin, and the family has named him "Raja", in memory of their late loved one.
The timing has left the family astonished. Raja was killed on a 'Gyaras' (Ekadashi), which is marked as the eleventh day of the lunar fortnight. Sachin's son was born on a 'Gyaras' too. The family sees this as a divine blessing. Their Indore home was decorated, and balloons reading "Raja is back" were put up outside. "My son has returned once again," said Uma Raghuvanshi, Raja's mother, as reported by NDTV.

The honeymoon that turned fatal
Raja and his wife Sonam left for Shillong on May 21 last year, later travelling to Sohra in Meghalaya, NDTV reported. On May 26, both were reported missing. A massive search followed, involving Sohra police, the Special Operations Team, NDRF, SDRF, trekking groups, and local volunteers. On June 2, Raja's body was found in a deep gorge near the Wei Sawdong Falls in Sohra.

Investigators soon found that Sonam was in a relationship with another man, Raj Kushwaha. The two had allegedly conspired to kill Raja during the trip itself. Three hired assailants carried out the killing in Sonam's presence, NDTV reported. Within a week, all five accused, named Sonam, Raj Kushwaha, and his associates Vishal Singh Chauhan, Aakash Singh Rajput, and Anand Kurmi were arrested.
For a family that endured an unbearable loss, the arrival of the newborn has brought both tears and relief and a belief that their Raja has somehow found his way back home.
